Executive Chef

Job requirement
  • Prior Executive Chef experience
  • Strong cost control experience 
  • Menu writing and costing expertise
  • Ability to work within a team environment a must 
  • Prior experience with volume cooking and execution of large events required 
  • Strong working knowledge of all food safety and sanitation practices and law 
  • Creativity must be a focus 
  • Ability to overcome and all challenges 
  • Full P&L responsibility and accountability 
  • Ability to hire, train and direct a team
  • Knowledge of restaurant front of the house 
  • Strong focus on satisfying each and every guest 
  • Purchasing skills 
  • 5 starred hotel experience is an advantages
  • Culinary degree is a plus 
  • Chinese and international food specialties is a plus
Job Description
  • Manage the hotel’s restaurant, bar lounge and room service, 
  • Direct banquette facilities which include 4 meeting rooms, ballroom and one of the biggest conference and wedding venue in East java with 4000 sqm area
  • The Executive Chef will also be a critical component of the sales effort with direct involvement with clients in the planning of menus, execution of "Chef Tables" is required and a signature of our philosophy.
