Executive Chef
Job requirement
- Prior Executive Chef experience
- Strong cost control experience
- Menu writing and costing expertise
- Ability to work within a team environment a must
- Prior experience with volume cooking and execution of large events required
- Strong working knowledge of all food safety and sanitation practices and law
- Creativity must be a focus
- Ability to overcome and all challenges
- Full P&L responsibility and accountability
- Ability to hire, train and direct a team
- Knowledge of restaurant front of the house
- Strong focus on satisfying each and every guest
- Purchasing skills
- 5 starred hotel experience is an advantages
- Culinary degree is a plus
- Chinese and international food specialties is a plus
Job Description
- Manage the hotel’s restaurant, bar lounge and room service,
- Direct banquette facilities which include 4 meeting rooms, ballroom and one of the biggest conference and wedding venue in East java with 4000 sqm area
- The Executive Chef will also be a critical component of the sales effort with direct involvement with clients in the planning of menus, execution of "Chef Tables" is required and a signature of our philosophy.
